ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER

2, co-ed adolescent residential facility, currently has an opening for an FT
Assistant Program Manager. Responsible for all scheduling at the facility,
supervision of all Respite staff and other staff as assigned, and assisting the
Program Manager in the day to day operation of the facility both clinically and
administratively. Position may also carry a small caseload.
Strong residential background and
experience working with chemically dependent individuals. Must be flexible, have
solid time management and organizational skills. Bachelor’s Degree and QHP
required, (CASAC, LMHC/LMSW). Four years’ experience in substance abuse
treatment and/or program management, preferred. Schedule to include a weekend
The Adolescent Programs have an opening for an Admissions/Discharge Assistant. Responsibilities include serving as the point of contact for all referring agencies; scheduling appointments, financial needs, etc, and assisting in the discharge procedure. CASAC-T required; two years’ experience preferred, preferably working with adolescents. Knowledge of insurance industry extremely helpful.
Hope House, Inc. currently has an opening for a full time Primary/Addictions Counselor at our adult residential treatment facility, the Bette Center. Primary responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, providing individual and group counseling services, documenting recovery plans, provide case management services to support clients linkages to the community, and provide therapeutic crisis intervention services when needed.
Must be able to maintain documentation in accordance with OASAS standards, maintain client confidentiality, as well as strong staff/client boundaries.
Bachelor's degree preferred. QHP or CASAC strongly preferred, but would consider CASAC-T with ability to obtain a full CASAC within 6 months.
Respite Workers are employed on an as needed on-call basis, primarily during the evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include providing staff coverage, maintaining the residence, and ensuring clients are adhering to program rules. Respite workers must also maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of each client in the delivery of services.
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working in a human services residential setting highly preferred. Experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a strong plus. Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and overnight shifts is desired.
